Site Agent

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Site Agent for one of our clients. This will require you to manage our building construction projects across Gauteng. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully delivering projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
2. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
3. Proactively monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions.
4. Maintain meticulous site records, including daily reports, progress documentation, and material tracking.
5. Conduct rigorous quality control inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
6. Facilitate clear and effective communication between project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
7. Manage site budgets and optimize resource allocation.
8. Enforce strict health and safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
9. Coordinate material procurement and manage on-site logistics.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Relevant tertiary qualification (BSc/BTech in Construction Management, Building, or Civil Engineering).
2. Minimum 6 years of demonstrable experience as a Site Agent on building construction projects (commercial, retail, industrial, warehousing etc).
3. In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations.
4. Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
