Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) seeks a Shunter Driver based in Midrand to safely maneuver trucks and trailers in the yard so that loading, unloading and parking occur within predefined efficiency standards.

The role reports to the Team Leader Warehouse in Midrand and requires adherence to HSE and traffic regulations, plus clear communication with depot staff.

Qualifications

• Experience driving shunter trucks in a warehouse or yard environment.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety and asset security.
• Effective communication and ability to document activities.
• Familiarity with HSE and traffic compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver trucks and trailers safely in the yard to load, off-load and park vehicles.
• Coordinate with yard staff to optimize space and movements.
• Ensure documentation of movements and any incidents for reporting.

We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for Shunter Driver, which is based in Midrand. The successful candidate will report directly to the Team Leader Warehouse in Midrand. Key Purpose to maneuver trucks & trailers safely & efficiently in the yard/warehouse area so that vehicles & trailers can be loaded, off-loaded & parked within the predefined operational efficiency standards.
