Job description

Showroom Assistant / Administrator

We are looking for a Showroom Assistant / Administrator to join our team

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support our showroom operations. As a Showroom Assistant / Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with showroom sales, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the showroom is well-maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist customers and provide product information regarding stock availability and pricing
  • Follow up on quotations
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues
  • Maintain showroom appearance and cleanliness
  • Assist with maintaining visual presentation of the showroom (ie displays)
  • Support the showroom manager and sales team with administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed
  • Liaise with staff and clients as needed
  • Marking of drawings for corporate account
  • Assist with the list of samples for corporate clients

The ideal candidate will need to have the following skills and experience :

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in customer service, sales support, and office administration.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Team player
  • Proactive with a "can-do" attitude
  • Professional appearance and and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role.
