Requirements :

• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (non-negotiable due to client base)
• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or accepted NQF4 qualification.
• A qualification accepted by the FSCA.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar underwriting role.
• RE5 Regulatory Examination for Representatives.
• Class of Business : Short-Term Personal Lines (if DOFA date is post 01 / 04 / 2018).
• Class of Business : Short-Term Commercial Lines (if DOFA date is post 01 / 04 / 2018).
• In-depth knowledge of short-term insurance cover.
• Ability to explain insurance products clearly to clients and insurers.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet usage.

Responsibilities :

• Provide professional underwriting services to clients.
• Handle policy renewals, amendments, and general servicing.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers.
• Upsell and cross-sell appropriate insurance products.
• Accurately process quotes, endorsements, and renewals.
