SUMMARY:

The position involves carrying out general administrative duties for the branch, performing the short-term rental controller function, and assisting the rental manager to ensure best management practices are followed. The role aims to meet key performance criteria, promote customer service, and align with the company's strategic vision.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve predetermined targets and budget for STR
  • Ensure high quality customer interaction and service, fostering partnerships and solutions tailored for clients
  • Manage telesales, records, quotes, and prospects
  • Report weekly and monthly stock count and utilization
  • Prepare refinance and defleet documentation
  • Manage short-term fleet units, including reservations, delivery, collection, scheduling, and invoicing
  • Ensure all forklift delivery documentation is accurate and authorized
  • Invoice daily, weekly, and monthly rentals, including excess hours
  • Communicate with debtors regarding accounts
  • Verify load test certificates for machines at customer sites
  • Coordinate with workshop for machine preparation before delivery
  • Handle customer complaints and queries, ensuring timely feedback and service excellence
  • Assist the manager as required
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 / Matric + minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Kerridge system for data entry and reporting
  • Experience in fleet management
  • Ability to maintain and update database information
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and quality control processes
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities
  • Aware of quality and productivity standards and capable of ensuring compliance
