Role Purpose

  • The purpose of this role is to build a sustainable Short-Term Insurance business unit that provides Short-Term Insurance solutions to Intermediaries through training and technical sales support.
  • Create marketing opportunities for Financial Advisors (FAs) to increase market share for the business.

Responsibilities and Work Outputs

  • Identify and source new FAs and Specialist FAs.
  • Train and support FAs regarding Momentum Insure and its offerings.
  • Identify opportunities for FAs to pursue.
  • Generate sales.
  • Travel extensively.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Matric/Grade 12 (minimum).
  • Relevant marketing and/or sales degree, diploma, or equivalent (beneficial).
  • FAIS Credits (minimum 30 credits in short-term insurance if appointment date is before 2010); or a full recognized qualification as per FSCA list if on or after 01/01/2010.
  • Knowledge of current regulatory environment (FAIS, FICA, POPIA).
  • In-depth specialist knowledge of short-term insurance products (personal and commercial lines).
  • Minimum of 4 years short-term insurance experience (independent financial advisory or brokers).
  • Face-to-face engagement experience with Brokers.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport.
