Operate cash registers quickly and accurately.

Handle cash, checks, and credit card payments.

Make change and issue receipts.

Provide refunds or credit memorandums.

Promote customer loyalty plans.

Communicate customer loyalty/rewards programs and promotions.

Helping customers with purchases.

Scan and bag items.

Assist customers with their purchases.

Other Duties

Handle returns, exchanges, and complaints.

Answer phones as needed.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Train and develop new cashiers.

Help fellow cashiers solve problems.
