A creative company seeks a candidate to oversee shop operations, ensuring exceptional service and systematic logistics within the design paper industry. Ensure exceptional customer experience while driving sales, maintaining efficient product information management, and ensuring smooth logistics and administration.Key Responsibilities : Customer Service :
Ensure every client has a memorable experience by assisting with paper requirements, particularly for graphic designers working on brochures, letterheads, and other design projects.
Greet clients as they enter the showroom and acknowledge their presence, maintaining a welcoming environment.
Ensure timely and systematic delivery of samples, liaising with clients for updates on their orders.
Manage client liaison and telesales, building relationships with buyers and designers, promoting new products and special deals.
Provide detailed product information, including sheet sizes, grammages, technical details, and advice on product alternatives.
Administrative & Reporting :
Synchronize daily sales with the warehouse system and balance takings.
Handle administrative tasks such as quotes, stock transfers, invoicing, and writing delivery notes and credit note requests.
Ensure timely reporting and maintaining the accuracy of stock transfers and processed delivery notes.
Ensure that stock is only released to customers after payment is confirmed (COD risk management).
Manage and oversee sample reservations and stock queries, assisting external sales reps with sample deliveries and quotes.
Stay up to date with trends in the industry and ensure the showroom is tidy with current samples.
Teamwork & Coordination :
Support colleagues with various tasks, including functions, training, and stock take.
Assist with stock discrepancies and investigations to maintain accurate inventory.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the business's growth and client satisfaction by combining strong leadership, exceptional customer service, and a passion for the creative industry.The salary bracket for the role is around R15k CTC p / m.
