Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking an in-store professional to deliver efficient POS operations and superior customer service. You will promote clubcard membership, assist customers with promotions, and maintain store merchandising to meet visual standards.

Desirable background includes retail/FMCG store operations and basic maths/English at Grade 12. This permanent, full-time role focuses on accurate cash handling and delivering a positive shopping experience for customers in Sandton.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.
• Experience in a customer facing role is desirable within retail/FMCG store operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain high accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payments, including clubcard rewards.
• Ensure cash handling is performed safely at all times.
• Proactively promote Clicks' clubcard and enroll new members to meet targets.
• Make customers aware of promotions to positively affect sales and customer experience.
• Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador and providing friendly, professional service.
• Maintain merchandising and general housekeeping according to store standards.
