A global leader in packaging is seeking a Store Operations Specialist in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. In this role, you will optimize technical store systems, monitor processes, and engage with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds a tertiary qualification in Engineering or Supply Chain Management and has 3-5 years of experience in a technical or operations environment. • Take a practical role in optimization of technical stores systems and resources ensuring plant/process
availability according to predetermined availability parameters.
• Monitoring process and systems conditions and trends to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Engage in liaison with other stakeholders such as suppliers, direct line management, production,
engineering and maintenance.
• Work on equipment repair and manufacturing facility.
• Receive and inspects materials ordered from suppliers.
• Prepare stores delivery notes for the goods to be dispatched to the various destinations
• Filing of documents as per the inventory processes
• Conducting stock counts
• Prepare stores delivery notes for all items dispatched from stores
• Receipting of stock on SAP
• Binning of Stock
• Picking of Redundant spares
• Issuing of spares
• Coordinate transfers of stock from mill to mill
• Report incidents and stock outs to Head of stores and shift coordinator
• Offloading delivery trucks
• Operating of heavy machinery.
Your profile:
• Tertiary education in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum NQF level 5.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a technical, operations or stores environment.
• SAP / WMS experience
