Job summary

Italtile seeks a reliability-focused engineer to act as first responder to shift reliability issues on the factory floor. You will own reliability standards in the designated area, drive preventative maintenance with the PM team, and coach process controllers to sustain improvements and autonomous maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years min experience within the engineering & maintenance environment.
• Experience around practical problem solving and ownership around solution implementation.
• Experience in driving World Class Manufacturing exercises will be advantageous.
• Proven experience in leading teams and driving ownership.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on shift for all reliability aspects of the specified area within the production department.
• Own the reliability standards of the designated area through driving preventative maintenance with the PM Team.
• Serve as maintenance subject matter expert for the production shift and own training towards autonomous maintenance.
• Continuously drive process improvement using World Class Manufacturing knowledge to sustain reliability and cost outcomes.
• Drive root cause analysis and preventative actions, ensuring sustainable solutions with operational teams.
• Manage cost drivers to produce a product on time, in full and with quality at optimal cost.
• Lead improvement teams in designated area OTIF for machine & equipment reliability.
• Be an active ambassador of our industry, craft and products.
