Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Shift Supervisor for our East London facility. You will lead a production team, manage resources, and ensure safe, efficient operations to meet targets.

The role requires strong communication, decisive leadership, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. This on-site position supports continuous production flow in East London, Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing/production.
• Proven ability to lead a production team.
• Solid understanding of production operations, quality control, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the production team during shifts to meet output and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the floor.
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Train, mentor and motivate staff to maintain high performance and procedures adherence.
• Maintain accurate production records including output, waste, and downtime.
