Job summary

Profile Personnel is assisting a client in East London to fill a Fixed-Term Electrician role. The candidate will perform installation, maintenance and fault-finding in an industrial setting, including cranes and high work, and must have automotive or factory distribution experience.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, able to read electrical diagrams, compile BOQs, and hold a forklift licence (advantage).

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical experience.
• Comfortable working at heights up to ~12 metres, including on cranes.
• Experience in automotive or factory environments with exposure to electrical distribution.
• Project experience and ability to compile Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Experience in drawing and interpreting electrical diagrams.
• Forklift licence is advantageous.
• Safety-conscious, reliable and comfortable in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding in an industrial environment.
• Work on electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Carry out electrical work on cranes and at height.
• Assist with electrical projects and compile Bills of Quantities where required.
• Prepare and work from electrical diagrams and drawings.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
