Job Purpose

If you are responsible for electrical maintenance, diagnosis, and fault repairs on production equipment, as well as performing authorized modifications, then this role is just for you.

Main Responsibilities

1. Attend to and maintain plant production equipment.
2. Proactively ensure that preventative planned maintenance is performed in a cost-effective way to ensure minimum downtime and product losses.
3. Maintain electrical equipment on production lines and high-speed packaging lines.
4. Maintain electrical systems and components.
5. Fault finding and repair of electrical equipment.
6. Handle breakdowns effectively and timeously.
7. Execute breakdown elimination using the SHOPWARE system as a tool.
8. Perform daily inspection schedules on equipment.
9. Develop Kaizens to improve equipment reliability.
10. Support the PM team to reduce the MTTR and increase the MTBF.
11. Participate actively in the Machine Safety program.
12. Interpret electrical schematic diagrams accurately and modify them when necessary.
13. Possess knowledge of pneumatic systems, Profinet, and Variable Speed Drives.

Experiences & Qualifications

• N6 Certification in Electrical Engineering.
• Completed Electrical Trade Test with 3 years post-qualified experience.
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC S300, S400, and S1500 systems.
• Experience in PLC and relay control circuit fault-finding.
• Electrical fault-finding on motors, conveyors, DBs, etc.
• Experience in FMCG environment, preferably with packaging equipment.
• Working knowledge of photoelectric and proximity switches.
• Understanding of WCM and PM principles.
• Knowledge of barcode applicators, scanners, and printers.
• Willingness to work shifts, including some weekends.
