Job description

Leading sugar mill manufacturing company based in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking the expertise of an experienced SHERQ Officer to join their team.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Environmental Health / Safety / Risk Management and or equivalent
2. Must have either a SAMTRAC / NEBOSH Certificate
3. Lead Auditor in ISO 9000 and ISO 45000 is highly advantageous
4. Sound knowledge of relevant SHERQ legislation and regulatory requirements
5. Must have the ability to track SHERQ inspections in CMMS (MAXIMO) and facilitate an effective closeout
6. Relevant First Aid and Fire Prevention Training is advantageous
7. 3 years' experience within a similar manufacturing environment
