Purpose

This role ensures that the organization's functions are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Key Missions
  • Monitor, review, and analyze applicable laws and regulations related to compliance and data privacy.
  • Assess the adaptability of applicable laws and regulations and determine compliance obligations.
  • Develop, implement, and update compliance and data privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Analyze and discuss conclusions from internal controls and external reviews; implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Create and deliver compliance and data privacy training; raise awareness through communication campaigns.
  • Provide support and expertise to employees regarding compliance and data privacy.
  • Conduct and update compliance and data privacy risk assessments; manage risk remediation plans.
  • Report regularly on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the Crisis Management Team in case of data privacy violations.
  • Manage relations with regulatory bodies concerning compliance and data privacy issues.
  • Contribute to the deployment of the compliance roadmap.
  • Manage simple to less complex projects for the organization.
  • Supervise teams of juniors and work individually.
  • Report frequently to the direct manager.
