Job Title : SHEQ Officer

Location : Gauteng, Boksburg

Education, Experience, and Competencies

Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related field.

Certified Internal Auditor in ISO (essential).

Certified auditor ISO / ISO (advantage).

Working knowledge of SHEQ legislation and standards (e.g., ISO , ISO , ISO ).

Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a SHEQ role, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment.

Proven experience in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and audit procedures.

SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, HIRA or similar certification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Develop and implement safety policies and supervise the SHEQ Administrator.

Manage contractors' SHEQ requirements and coordinate SHEQ training programs.

Maintain safety records, ensure environmental compliance, and support quality management systems.

Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and prepare documentation.

Drive continuous SHEQ awareness and conduct regular SHE inspections.

Manage calibration, verification of measurement equipment, and regulatory appointments.

Support document control, electronic file management, and procurement of tools.

Develop internal audits, monitor regulatory compliance, and ensure all SHEQ registers are current.

Oversee security and safety jobs, conduct emergency drills, and support environmental initiatives.
