The Seasonal Labourer role involves various essential tasks contributing to the smooth operation of the ARC's agricultural projects.

Responsibilities

As part of the team, you will be responsible for:

1. Farm Operations: Carrying out farm practices as instructed by the management team.
2. Tool Maintenance: Using and maintaining tools and equipment provided by the organization.
3. Manual Tasks: Completing tasks assigned by supervisors, such as harvesting and other farm-related duties.
4. Safety Compliance: Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Minimum Education: Grade 10 qualification or equivalent exposure to the fruit farming environment.
2. Experience: Prior experience in harvesting tropical and subtropical fruits is highly advantageous.
3. Familiarity with basic agricultural practices is essential.
4. Basic knowledge of operating farm equipment and machinery, such as brush cutters and chainsaws, is preferred.
5. Skills: Understanding of health and safety procedures in an agricultural setting.
