  • Exceptional knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Duties and responsibilities :

  • Ensure full compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Implement appropriate and adequate procedural control measures.
  • Provide sufficient physical safeguards, including safety PPE, for hazards.
  • Maintain adequate controls for common risks such as slips, trips, and falls.
  • Uphold adequate standards of housekeeping.
  • Ensure training of all employees and external contractors.
  • Ensure sufficient development and maintenance of safe operating procedures.
  • Implement health and safety procedures.
  • Drive SHEQ-related continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain quality system and certification.
  • Ensure legal compliance with environmental laws.
  • Measure the impact of the company's operations on the environment and improve annually (carbon footprint, emissions, etc.).
  • Identify hazards.
  • Manage day-to-day security.
  • Close out insurable risks highlighted.
