Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking an experienced SHE Officer for our client in the FIRGROVE Western Cape. The role focuses on visibility on the floor, driving compliance and building a strong safety culture.

You will implement the SHE Management System, conduct HIRA, audits and investigations, and coordinate training and safety programs to uphold high safety standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety or similar.
• 3–5 years SHE experience, preferably in manufacturing or food processing.
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the SHE Management System.
• Ensure compliance with the OHS Act, environmental legislation and company standards.
