Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking an organised safety professional to drive occupational health and safety, legal compliance and ESG across its branches and distribution centres. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the OHS management system, conducting risk assessments, inspections and audits, and supporting ESG reporting.

Requirements include a National Diploma or Degree in Safety/Environmental Management, SAMTRAC, 2–3 years OHS experience, and a valid driver’s licence with willingness to

Qualifications

• 2–3 years OHS experience in warehousing, distribution or multi-site settings.
• Proven knowledge of OHS Act 85 of 1993, COIDA and environmental legislation.
• Strong report-writing, data-management and MS Office skills (especially Excel).
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to branches.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve the OHS management system across all sites.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and audits of warehouses, forklift operations, racking and fire equipment.
• Investigate incidents and manage COIDA claims.
• Maintain statutory training, emergency preparedness and legal appointments.
• Keep the legal compliance register and track permits.
