The main purpose of this role includes, but is not limited to:
- Design, architecture, development, deployment, operations, administration, training, and support of key SharePoint infrastructure and business solutions.
Key Performance Areas of the Role:
SharePoint Administration
- Maintain and manage the SharePoint Online environment, ensuring overall health and maintenance.
- Manage sites and accounts, including site configuration, custom features deployment, bandwidth monitoring, and space management.
- Provide user support and promote user adoption.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint Online issues.
- Conduct user training and create documentation.
- Manage user permissions, including access restrictions and revocations.
- Create and manage content types, site columns, lookups, and templates for reuse.
- Manage site content, structure settings, site hierarchy, and navigation.
- Ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place.
- Keep SharePoint Online updated with the latest security patches.
- Monitor site usage and address dormancy issues.
SharePoint Development
- Develop, test, and maintain custom SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Lead development and deployment of SharePoint Online solutions, engaging and managing development processes.
- Determine effective SharePoint solution architecture and taxonomies to meet business needs and enhance search capabilities.
- Review existing SharePoint infrastructure and solutions to identify and address deficiencies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Monitor workflows and tasks to ensure proper operation and deployment of capabilities.
- Conduct research to stay updated on SharePoint's current and future features.
Business Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and determine detailed business requirements related to SharePoint solutions.
Project Management
- Participate in projects to improve processes, tools, systems, and organizational efficiency.
- Prioritize and execute projects for continuous business improvement.
- Uphold TCTA values, demonstrating high ethical standards, integrity, collaboration, and teamwork.
Governance Management
- Promote best practices and ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements.
- Enhance consistency and effectiveness of information and document governance at TCTA.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in SharePoint Administration and Development.
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a relevant qualification.
- Microsoft SharePoint Certification.
- Microsoft Azure Certification (preferable).
- Microsoft Power Platform Certification (preferable).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
