Curro is seeking a Setswana FAL Teacher (Foundation Phase) for Meridian Rustenburg in Rustenburg to commence duties in January 2027. This full-time role involves teaching and coordinating a range of subjects per the Curro curriculum for the foundation phase.

The successful candidate will have a BEd or PGCE in foundation phase, with an honours degree advantageous, and at least 2 years of experience, plus CAPS knowledge, strong facilitation, reporting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BEd and/or PGCE in foundation phase education with CAPS knowledge.
• Honours degree advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a foundation phase teacher.
• Proven facilitation, reporting and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Teach and coordinate a range of foundation phase subjects per Curro curriculum.
• Plan lessons using modern-day tools and measure progress.
• Review and adjust term plans, include parent meetings.
• Manage classroom and implement disciplinary rules.
• Assessments planning, moderation and interventions.
• Plan homework and extramural activities.
