Job description

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Join our established EPC company's growing Services Division, developing and expanding Lesedi's essential technical, maintenance, and supply services for our valued industrial clients.

As Service Manager, you'll lead a team dedicated to maintaining excellent client relationships and delivering high-quality service solutions.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  1. Develop and grow Lesedi's Industrial Service Offering to the market
  2. Manage a team of service technicians and support staff
  3. Create and implement service strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention
  4. Oversee service delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with standards
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  6. Identify opportunities to expand service offerings at current client sites
  7. Collaborate with EPC project teams to ensure smooth transitions from project to service
  8. Analyse service performance data to drive continuous improvement
  9. Manage service contracts, budgets, and resource allocation
  10. Implement and maintain service management systems and procedures
QUALIFICATION

Technical degree or diploma in engineering, business management, or related field preferred. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance.

EXPERIENCE
  1. 5+ years of experience in service management within industrial, engineering, or technical environments
  2. Proven track record of leading service teams and ensuring client satisfaction
  3. Strong understanding of maintenance operations, supply chain management, and service delivery
  4. Experience with service management systems and KPI tracking
  5. Excellent communication and relationship management skills
COMPETENCIES

Deep understanding of service operations, maintenance methodologies, contract management, safety protocols, and relevant software systems. Skills include strategic planning, financial analysis, team leadership, problem-solving, client relationship management, project management, performance analysis, negotiation, and communication.
