Job description
Service Technician

Your mission:

  • Deliver specialized technical support for Epiroc machine systems, including automation and autonomous technologies.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability.
  • Foster strong customer relationships through effective communication, support, and on-site collaboration.
  • Coach mine and Epiroc personnel on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
  • Conduct fault finding and root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with the Product Company to address recurring failures and contribute to sustainable solutions and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in testing, reporting, inventory activities, and shift or standby duties as required, while maintaining high performance under pressure.
  • Timeously report on safety issues to relevant Epiroc and Customer personnel.

Your Profile:

  • Grade 12 or NTC 3 with applicable trade qualification
  • Technical knowledge of Epiroc underground machines
  • 2 years of mining experience
  • Advanced RCS Troubleshooting Skills
  • Valid driver’s license
