We are looking for a Service Operation Portfolio Manager to oversee the Onshore wind turbines service business in South Africa. This role is responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction, process and organizational implementation, project profitability, safety, quality, and productivity in line with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) standards and company targets.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Implementing and ensuring adherence to policies, processes, and methods for customer service activities (technical and/or commercial)
• Developing and defining policies, processes, and methods for regional, business, or corporate organization from a technical and commercial perspective
• Ensuring compliance with regional laws and regulations
• Leading and ensuring a capable service workforce to perform tasks efficiently and with quality
• Providing the necessary environment, tools, and processes for optimal service delivery
• Acting as an escalation point for resolving service delivery issues
• Managing assigned organizational units and leading or coordinating management and staff

Qualifications and qualities needed to make a difference:

• A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to leading change
• Focus on project health, safety, environment (HSE), and quality management (QM) performance
• Primary contact for customer communication and engagement at the portfolio level
• Representing SGRE to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality, safeguarding interests
• Overall accountability for profit/loss, risk and opportunity management, project scope, and compliance with standards and regulations
