Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. New business development and business retention
  2. Client research construction and detail
  3. Managing client relationships
  4. Operations interaction
  5. Research team management
  6. Ensuring the process runs according to deadlines and budget together with the Project Manager
  7. Attempting initial value add / insights at each stage (development area)
  8. Developing basic Solutions knowledge
  9. Ensuring integration of information from multiple sources where applicable and available
  10. Conducting desk research to add value to all reports / presentations and assist the client in understanding the findings

Knowledge and Skills:

Education:

  • School: Matric
  • A Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Arts, or Business is essential (an honors degree would be an advantage)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ Market research agency experience in a client-facing role
  • Thorough knowledge of the service line’s core research
  • Strong innovative research and analytic skills
  • Business acumen – business leader, entrepreneurial, financial perspective
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills

Additional requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with the MS Office package
  • Ability to learn other software packages
