Job summary

A leading global construction equipment company is seeking a Service Engineer (Mobile Cranes) to provide technical support and maintenance for machinery. The role requires at least 3 years’ experience in servicing Mobile Cranes, along with strong safety practices. The ideal candidate will have a trade or university qualification, and experience with OEM or dealerships is preferred. This position is based in Boksburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years’ experience in Service of all types Mobile Cranes, preferably with GCC/International driving license.
• Candidates from OEM or Dealership are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Find out, adjust, repair or overhaul mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Carry out periodic maintenance of the heavy equipment machinery.
• Test machinery after repair or assembly to ensure proper functioning.
• Provide technical support to customers and maintain amicable client relations.
• Ensure that work is undertaken in a safe manner and conforms to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to find out, adjust, repair or overhaul the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment;
• Carry out periodic maintenance of the heavy equipment machinery;
• Test machinery after repair or assembly to ensure proper functioning and compliance;
• Provide technical support to customers and maintain amicable client relations;
• Ensure that work is undertaken in a safe manner and that practices conform to safety regulations and procedures;
• Stock machine management and periodic maintenance;
• RI, PDI, DI, regular service and customer training etc. standard service action implementation;
• Technical support to sales team; and
• Complete other task given by the line manager.

Requirements:

• Matric; Trade or University qualification preferred;
• More than 3 years’ experience in Service of all types Mobile Cranes, preferably with GCC/International driving license; and
