MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To address MHR clients’ staffing requests and placements and to provide guidance and direction to MHR Service Centre Coordinators. To monitor Service Centre Coordinator’s performance to ensure excellent client service is provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Supervise a team of MHR Service Centre Coordinators during shifts
  • Address client staffing requests and coordinate placements/cancellations of MHR Panel Members
REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:Grade 12

DESIRED EDUCATION: None

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

6 month experience in leading a team

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

3 months service centre team leader experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Basic understanding of the scope of practice of healthcare workers
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of relevant legislation (i.e. Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) Labour Relations Act (LRA) etc.) and the ability to apply this in the workplace
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new systems
  • The ability to manage a small team to achieve departmental goals
  • Exceptional client service skills and sound client service experience. The ability to effectively deal with demanding clients
  • Excellent communication, feedback, and follow-up skills (English written and verbal skills).

  • High standards of excellence and attention to detail
