Job description

My client is seeking to a Service and Maintenance Division Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service and maintenance team. This role ensures the efficient planning, execution, and completion of service jobs and preventative maintenance activities. The supervisor ensures compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and customer service expectations

POSITION INFO :

Minimum requirements :

  • Trade Millwright / Electrician or proven track record with experience in the related field or position
  • Minimum 5 years experience in service / maintenance roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory position
  • Experience in Materials handling, OHS Act or Engineering roles
  • Strong understanding of mechanical / electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
  • Familiarity with maintenance software and scheduling tools and or the implementation of
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field staff as needed.(mechanical / Electrical background). Overhead crane knowledge would be ideal
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Procurement, Logistics) to ensure availability of parts and tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and technician performance
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve service-related issues
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Assist in training new staff and conducting performance evaluations
  • Recommend improvements to service processes and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Split between office and field-based work over inspection supervision
  • Requires use of personal protective equipment when on-site
