Service Advisor (Hyundai Boksburg)

The Service Advisor will be responsible for maximizing service sales and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by doing the following:

1. Maximize service sales by using professional sales techniques.
2. Ensure the security of cash taken.
3. Create customer confidence in the brand by ensuring professional and knowledgeable performance.
4. Ensure the highest level of efficiency and courtesy when dealing with customers.
5. Record customer's details and requirements accurately by means of a Job card.
6. Record and update service history and vehicle details accurately.
7. Carry out a physical inspection of the vehicle with the customer, noting damages and mileage on the job card.
8. Perform daily follow-ups with customers.
9. Keep clients updated throughout the day regarding vehicle progress.
10. Ensure completed jobs are not released without verified payment.
11. Ensure all CPA documentation is completed correctly as required by law.
12. Adhere to the Company's quoting policy.
13. Confirm payment arrangements prior to commencement of job.
14. Confirm type of job before opening job card.
15. If the customer has a service/maintenance plan, ensure authorization is received.
16. Ensure costings are correct as per costing matrix/authorization.
17. Obtain authorization from customer for any additional work required.
18. Adhere to cash sale policies.
19. Control vehicles on the work-in-progress report.
20. Take deposits on jobs over R 5.
21. Ensure deposits of no less than 50% are taken from customers on quotes exceeding R 5.
22. Ensure that repair waiver forms are completed and signed by the customer.
23. Ensure filing system is up to date.
24. Ensure all warranty job cards are given to the Warranty Clerk daily.
25. Cost all labor hours on carry overs daily.
26. Communicate up-sell items to the customer with correct authorizations.
