Job description

Job Summary: Serving as the primary point-of-contact for all automotive service and repair matters, the Service Advisor's core responsibility is to listen and thoroughly understand customer problems, arrange for appropriate service levels, and set/manage customer and technician expectations regarding service delivery.

The ideal Service Advisor has an unrestricted driver's license, a clean driving record, strong mechanical aptitude, at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience, post-secondary automotive training, certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (or willingness to obtain it), and a proven record of technical and customer service performance.

CDJR or domestic experience required.

Physical Demands: include sitting, standing, walking, lifting (25-50 lbs), carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, tasting/smelling, and visual acuity requirements.

Environmental Conditions: exposure to weather, moving parts, non-climate-controlled conditions, humidity, high places, noise, and vibration.
