Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in the engineering field.
  • 1-2 years experience in the aseptic industry and/or food technology preferred.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English is required.

Job description

The purpose of this role is to fulfill all technical and planning tasks to meet Customer expectations and satisfaction. Manage Line performance KPIs such as efficiency and waste to achieve set targets. Oversee FSE skills development.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the SIG FSE Team
  • Apply multiple leadership styles to deliver SIG SSA TS KPIs through people
  • Coordinate resource planning for services, projects, ad hoc requests, breakdowns, and development
  • Support installation of filling lines
  • Develop and execute Service Master Plans for all customers in the region
  • Manage customer relationships through structured meetings and protocols
  • Plan manpower and assign jobs for daily/weekly tasks in production supervision
  • Coordinate training and development of Customer Technical and Operational Staff using skills matrix
  • Coordinate spare parts for Africa customers and support spare parts management decisions on SIG equipment
  • Register customer complaints, ensure information flow, and coordinate actions on site
  • Support customers with chronic performance issues on SIG equipment
  • Prepare department and customer reports regularly
  • Drive VAPS, On Site Optimizations, and Must Points initiatives

Skills, experience & education

  • University Degree in Engineering and minimum 3 years of management experience
  • Degree in Business Management is beneficial
  • 1-2 years experience in aseptic industry and/or Food technology preferred
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English is required
  • Knowledge of local language and French is beneficial
