Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled, strategic, and creative SEO Manager to lead the company's global SEO initiatives.

This role requires both deep expertise in traditional SEO practices and strong alignment with new search paradigms such as Google's Search Generative Experience (SGE), E-E-A-T standards, and AI-driven optimization.

As the SEO lead, you will own and manage the full SEO strategy across our digital ecosystem—partnering with internal teams and managing external SEO agencies—to deliver measurable impact on visibility, traffic, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic SEO Leadership: Own and manage all SEO efforts across eTeacher's brands. Build, execute, and evolve a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives, audience needs, and product goals.
  2. AI-Driven SEO & SGE Readiness: Leverage AI tools for keyword research, content ideation, and on-page optimization. Ensure content is optimized for visibility in AI-powered search experiences like Google's SGE, featured snippets, and zero-click results.
  3. E-E-A-T & Semantic SEO: Ensure all content adheres to Google's E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness). Use semantic SEO strategies including topic clustering, structured data, and entity optimization to improve relevance and authority.
  4. Cross-Channel Optimization: Lead SEO efforts across all relevant platforms—including websites, YouTube, and social media—ensuring content is discoverable where our audiences search.
  5. Content & Product Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, product managers, and designers to integrate SEO requirements into content planning and product development for long-term organic growth.
  6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Use tools like GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush to track traffic, rankings, and engagement. Generate regular SEO performance reports and communicate key insights and opportunities to stakeholders.
  7. Agency & Budget Management: Manage external SEO agencies, including contract negotiation, performance reviews, and budget oversight. Ensure effective use of resources to meet business KPIs.
  8. Market & Funnel Growth Insights: Identify SEO-driven growth opportunities across markets, sales funnels, and new product verticals, using insights to shape digital marketing and product strategies.
  9. Innovation & Trend Leadership: Stay on top of industry trends, search algorithm updates, and emerging technologies. Bring innovative thinking and proactive adaptation to continuously improve our SEO performance.
Experience
  1. Minimum of 5 years in SEO with a strong focus on content-led strategies, technical SEO, and managing multi-brand or multilingual sites.
  2. Proven track record optimizing content across web, video (YouTube), and social platforms with measurable results.
  3. Familiarity with AI-powered SEO tools (e.g. Jasper, Surfer, ChatGPT, Clearscope) and proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs / SEMrush, and data visualization tools.
  4. Strong ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and translate findings into actionable SEO strategies that align with business goals.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO strategy and performance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration experience.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Requirements
  1. Demonstrated experience working with and managing SEO agencies or freelancers, including contract oversight and performance evaluation.
  2. Google Analytics, SEO certifications (Moz, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc.) are a plus.
