Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Analyst to own search strategies for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will shape the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table.

You will work remotely with US/Canada/South Africa clients, collaborating with writers and AI to deliver audits, on-page optimization, and performance reporting through GA4 and Search Console.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO; audits and fixes performed independently.
• Proficient in GA4, Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Experience delivering for multiple clients in an agency.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture.
• Define keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers/AI.
• Improve AI-related search results and traditional organic ranks.
• Manage multi-location/local SEO as needed.
• Provide quarterly client roadmaps and GA4/ Search Console reporting.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
