Job summary

Qualifications

• At least a diploma in biological or food science / BSc degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years relevant work experience in the fast-moving consumer goods environment preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry.
• Previous working experience with a Food Safety Management System.
• Advanced computer skills and excellent communication skills are also needed.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Methodical, accurate and conscientious worker.
• Working knowledge of safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Have reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to quality assurance in the sensory lab and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support TPM practices and lab governance within budget.
• Develop and execute training and assessment schedules.
• Maintain lab SLA targets and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal customers to ensure high product quality at Springs Cidery.
