Placements24 is seeking a Senior Yoga and Pilates Instructor to deliver high-quality online classes and cultivate a welcoming virtual studio. This fully remote contractor role requires a Yoga Alliance certification and pilates credential, plus 5+ years of teaching experience across Yoga and Pilates.

You will design varied sessions, guide students with alignment, mindfulness, and safe practice, and collaborate with marketing to grow the online platform while maintaining an inclusive learning

Formación

• Certification from a recognized Yoga Alliance (RYT-200) and Pilates certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional teaching experience in both Yoga and Pilates.
• Experience designing and instructing varied class styles (Vinyasa, Hatha, Power Yoga; Mat/Reformer Pilates).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology as they relate to Yoga and Pilates.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead engaging online Yoga and Pilates classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced.

• Offer personalized guidance and feedback to students during virtual sessions.
• Ensure a safe and supportive virtual class environment, adhering to best practices for online instruction.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote classes and attract new students to the online platform.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current Yoga and Pilates trends, techniques, and research.
• Manage class schedules and student registrations through the designated online platform.
• Contribute to the development of new online wellness programs and content.

Requirements

• Certification from a recognized Yoga Alliance (RYT-200 or higher) and Pilates certification (e.g., Pilates Matwork, STOTT Pilates).
• A minimum of 5 years of professional teaching experience in both Yoga and Pilates.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and instructing varied class styles (e.g., Vinyasa, Hatha, Power Yoga, Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates if applicable).
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology as they relate to Yoga and Pilates.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive online learning environment.
• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and related technologies.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable space for conducting online classes.
