Job summary

Dante Personnel seeks a Wet Works Foreman for a major residential project in Gauteng. Lead on-site teams and subcontractors to deliver quality wet works while enforcing safety standards.

Required: National Diploma in Building/Civil Engineering or related qualification, Trade Certificate (Bricklaying/Plaster), Grade 12, and 5+ years in wet works with 2+ years in a senior role. Afrikaans and English fluency, valid license, and reliable vehicle essential.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Grade 12.
• Must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Must have National Diploma in Building/Civil Engineering or related qualification.
• Must have a Trade Certificate (Bricklaying, plaster).
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Wet Works Foreman, with at least 2 years at a senior/lead level.
• Proven experience on high-density residential (Res 3) developments.
• Solid knowledge of concrete, brickwork, plastering and screeding practices.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.
• Strong understanding of site Health and Safety requirements (OHS Act).
• Proven ability to manage and motivate large labour teams and sub-contractors.
• Must have a valid license and own reliable vehicle.
