Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include IT qualification or Matric with 5+ years of hands-on development experience in a custom software environment.
• Solid proficiency in .NET C#, enterprise-grade web apps; VB an advantage.
• 5+ years as a Developer in a multi-tier .NET env with 5+ years Front-End experience.
• Strong experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, ASP.NET, HTML5, React.
• Knowledge of RESTful services, JSON/XML data exchange; OWASP security principles.
• Experience with IIS, SOAP/REST, XML/JSON structures; SQL Server Azure SQL.
• Experience with source control: Git, Azure DevOps, Visual SourceSafe, etc.
• Azure Cloud experience beneficial: Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Functions, DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing functionality and develop new components.
• Collaborate with analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Refactor, optimise and improve codebases for performance and maintainability.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure correctness.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects and production issues.
• Participate in build, packaging and deployments across environments.
• Mentor junior developers where seniority allows.
