Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Planner in Stellenbosch to deliver holistic financial planning services for high-net-worth clients. You will craft retirement, investment, risk, and estate plans while building lasting client relationships.

The role requires strong analytical skills, CFP or equivalent qualification, and 5–7 years of experience in wealth management. You will collaborate with professionals to provide integrated solutions and contribute to firm growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; CFP® or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
• Proven ability to develop and present comprehensive financial plans.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, insurance, retirement vehicles and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and client relationship skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with financial planning software (NaviPlan, eMoney, XPLAN).

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to client needs and goals.
• Provide expert advice on investments, retirement planning, insurance, and estate planning.
• Analyze clients' financial situations including income, assets, and liabilities.
• Monitor portfolios and adjust plans as needed.
• Stay updated on financial products, market trends, and tax/estate changes.
• Build long-term client relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Collaborate with accountants and legal advisors for integrated solutions.
• Assist in developing planning processes and best practices.
