We're on the hunt for a VMWare ESXi Host Engineer Specialist to join our high-performing infrastructure team.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge enterprise virtualization projects within a dynamic banking environment where innovation meets scale.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Design and deliver both high-level and low-level architecture for PRD and DR hardware refresh initiatives.
2. Deploy and manage enterprise-scale VMware vSphere environments (ESXi 7 & 8).
3. Lead HPE Synergy infrastructure deployments and lifecycle management.
4. Perform critical vCenter and ESXi upgrades in line with global best practices.
5. Manage firmware and storage enhancements, including HDD optimizations.
6. Seamlessly integrate VMware with AWS cloud platforms.
7. Implement and support Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for resilient data protection.
8. Maintain robust documentation across VMware, Hyper-V, and storage infrastructure.
9. Provide expert-level support on DELL and HP enterprise hardware.
10. Play a key role in disaster recovery (DR) planning, implementation, and failover testing.
11. Resolve escalated infrastructure issues and ensure platform stability.
12. Proactively identify risks and recommend infrastructure improvement strategies.
13. Drive standards for compliance, monitoring, security, and documentation in all VMware-related projects.

What You Bring to the Table:

1. 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure with a strong focus on virtualization, storage, and server technologies.
2. Degree or Diploma in IT or a related field.
3. VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP) are strongly preferred.
4. Additional certifications in Veeam, AWS, or Azure will give you an edge.
5. Deep expertise in VMware ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter architectures.
6. Hands-on experience with Dell and HP hardware platforms.
7. Proven knowledge in cloud integrations, particularly VMware to AWS.
8. Strong command of disaster recovery technologies and best practices.
9. Familiarity with converged infrastructure especially HPE Synergy.
10. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
