Job Summary :

The Senior Vehicle Architecture Engineer will lead the design, integration, and testing of advanced powertrain systems, including electric vehicles. Responsibilities include overseeing projects, developing requirements and vehicle architecture, supplier evaluation, test and validation, team leadership, and supporting business development.

Requirements :

• BEng or MEng in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Willingness to travel internationally
• South African Citizenship
• 10+ years relevant engineering experience
• Strong technical expertise in automotive engineering and EV systems
• Leadership and project management skills

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage advanced powertrain projects
• Develop vehicle architecture and infrastructure requirements
• Evaluate and select suppliers
• Develop test and validation protocols
• Lead and mentor engineering teams
• Drive innovation in alternative drive solutions

Working Hours :

08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and flexible hours.
