Job description

We're hiring a Senior UX / UI Designer for a leading Financial Services Company, where you'll be part of our client's Digital Design Hub while employed by Yoyo.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Product Design Lead and developers to create engaging user experiences and polished UI designs across our digital products. Guided by the Lead Designer, you'll contribute to the design process, assisting in user research, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, testing, and product quality assurance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the lead product designer, product manager, and development team.
• User Research: Assisting in user research, including interviews, insights gathering, usability testing during the design lifecycle.
• User Experience: Collaborating with junior designers and the Product Design Lead to understand product requirements and user needs.
• Creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
• Developing high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile, understanding React Native, Material, and iOS guidelines.
• Building positive and negative customer flows to ensure a great customer journey.

Inter-team collaboration:

• Working with your Design Lead and developers to understand technical constraints.
• Ensuring designs are implemented as envisioned during development.
• Supporting stakeholders with their design needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a UX/UI/CX role.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
• Experience working within a cross-functional development team.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience in the Financial Sector or payment platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a portfolio showcasing your work.
