Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Urban Planner based in Sandton, Gauteng. You will lead planning and design of sustainable, integrated urban developments, manage complex projects, and engage stakeholders including government bodies and communities.

Applicants should hold a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning, SACPLAN Pr Pln registration, and at least 8 years’ experience guiding development from concept to approval. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Competenze

Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning or related field.
SACPLAN registration as Professional Planner (Pr Pln).
Minimum 8 years of relevant urban planning experience, with leadership.]
In-depth knowledge of SPLUMA and planning legislation.
Experience managing complex development applications and urban design projects.

Mansioni

Lead preparation and submission of spatial development frameworks, land use apps, and rezonings.
Conduct site analyses, policy reviews, and feasibility studies for proposed developments.
Develop strategic planning proposals and master plans for urban areas.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for planning tasks.
