• A minimum of 9 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a strong focus on urban environments.
• Proven experience in traffic analysis, transportation modeling (e.g., Vissim, TransCAD), and road design.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation planning principles, traffic control devices, and road safety audits.
• Familiarity with South African transport policies and standards.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality work in a remote setting.
• A dedicated and professional home office setup with reliable high-speed internet is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and analysis of transportation infrastructure, including roads, intersections, and public transport facilities.
• Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic modeling, and demand forecasting.
