Job Purpose :

To manage a specific sport in order to maximise profit margins and provide punters with a competitive product that is on time and online at the right price.

Education :

B Degree in Sports / Business / Finance or equivalent (plus).

Key Employee License Holder (plus).

Experience :

Minimum 2 years' experience as a junior trader in sports.

Key Performance Areas :

1. Offer as many pre-game and live televised sports games as possible to attract sports punters to Sunbet.
2. Add competitive sports markets and increase market range to become the leading bookmaker for a specific sport.
3. Monitor sports punters to keep abreast of those lost to the business.
4. Collaborate with marketing to establish reasons for lost punters and develop campaigns to attract and retain punters.
5. Ensure adherence to sports-specific risk policies to guide exposure management.
6. Decide on take-backs from other bookmakers to reduce exposure, avoiding losses.
7. Adjust markets, betting limits, and prices to manage exposure effectively.
8. Analyze manually set sports to determine correct prices and quotes.
9. Compare company prices with market prices and decide on positioning strategies.
10. Spot and investigate suspicious betting transactions for legitimacy.
11. Report on sports and punters to evaluate growth and performance.
12. Analyze betting patterns to inform strategy improvements.
13. Propose ideas to enhance sports-specific performance based on report insights.
