You will be responsible for identifying trading opportunities, managing risk exposure, and executing profitable trades to achieve the company's financial objectives. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of energy markets, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced trading environment within the financial hub of Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

Execute trading strategies for a portfolio of energy commodities, aiming for maximum profitability.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, price movements, and arbitrage opportunities.
Manage and mitigate trading risks, including market, credit, and operational risks, through robust hedging strategies.
Monitor global economic indicators, geopolitical events, and supply/demand fundamentals affecting energy markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, counterparties, and key market participants.
Prepare detailed trading reports, performance analyses, and market commentary for senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
