Placements24 is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Management Consultant specializing in Technology Strategy to join our remote-first team serving clients in Sandton and worldwide.

You will guide organizations in aligning technology investments with business goals, advise on IT strategy, cloud adoption, data analytics and emerging tech, and lead virtual teams to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT consulting, technology strategy, or enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience in developing IT strategies and digital transformation roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing, data management, cybersecurity, and modern IT architectures.
• Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in managing technology projects and leading virtual teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive technology strategies aligned with business goals.
• Assess current IT infrastructure and provide recommendations for optimization and modernization.
• Advise on cloud strategy, implementation, and migration for platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop data strategy and analytics roadmaps to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, including AI, ML, and IoT solutions.
• Lead technology due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
