The SMPP Supervisor oversees and coordinates construction contractors, maintaining project performance within their geographic area. They coordinate work efforts, ensure activities align with the project schedule, and must be competent in construction trades to evaluate methods and performance accurately. Reports to the Construction Manager.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Supervise construction activities and administer contractor and subcontractor work for assigned project portions
• Monitor site health, safety, and environmental performance, ensuring contractors protect their workers
• Ensure work quality standards are met
• Assist in coordinating design deliverables to support efficient construction
• Communicate deficiencies and non-conformance issues to the Construction Manager
• Support site administration and record-keeping per the Construction Execution Plan
• Contribute to construction estimating, scheduling, cost control, and reporting
• Serve as the point of contact for contractors in the assigned area

You bring to the role:

• A technical degree or equivalent supervisory experience
• 5-10 years of onsite experience on major projects
• Strong leadership, motivation, and team management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the EPCM project delivery model and industry standards
• Experience working on construction sites in African countries is advantageous
