Senior Technician - KZN

An Internal Vacancy exists for a Senior Technician in the Technical RBM Division based in KZN.

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Maintenance of Electronic Security Equipment;
2. Regular communication and development of a good relationship with client;
3. Attention to detail on all aspects of relevant responsibilities;
4. Adhering to the Agreement between the client and the company;
5. Adhering to Health and Safety regulations;
6. Feedback to SLA manager;
7. Problem Solving / Project Management of small projects;
8. Management and Control of Documentation, including Registers, Overtime and Route Sheets;
9. Submission of fault reports on the system;
10. Revision of Work in Progress reports and the financial implications thereof;
11. Available to be on standby if and when required;

Preferred qualifications / attributes / skills:

1. PSIRA certification;
2. Must be AVIGILON certified;
3. Must be Paradox alarm certified;
4. Cathexis – certification;
5. Computer literacy is a must;
6. Network ability;
7. Fault finding and trouble shooting ability is key;
8. Sound knowledge / experience and understanding of Access Control and IP surveillance system;
9. Relevant experience in similar position advantageous;
10. Excellent security equipment installation skills;
11. Excellent trouble shooting and fault finding skills;
12. Excellent written & verbal communication and skills;
13. A good working knowledge of MS Office;
14. Valid Driver’s license;
15. Proven track record in the Electronics Security Industry;
16. Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
